I was on the train when news broke on twitter that Weezy’s sentencing was postponed. This time is was because of a fire that had broken out in the court house. According to Jason Rodriguez from MTV, there’s were a few injuries. The courthouse was then closed for the rest of the day.
So Wayne was set to to head into prison but it seems that Wayne’s sentencing has been adjourned because he needs surgery on a cracked tooth. Thanks to nation for the heads up. Update – According to MTV News’ Jason Rodriguez, the District Attorney said that the facilities on Rikers Island weren’t equipped to handle the procedure on Lil Wayne’s teeth.
