Chipmunk has stormed to the top of the UK Pop Charts with his new single “Oopsy Daisy”.
The single is taken from the18-year old rapper’s new album “I Am Chipmunk”, which is released tomorrow.
In other chart news, Jay-Z & Alicia Keys slip from second place to third while Taio Cruz’s holds fourth spot.
Chipmunk joins Tinchy Stryder, N-Dubz and Dizzee Rascal who have all had number one singles in the UK pop charts.
Congrats to Chip.
It seems Tinchy Stryder isnt the only one who isnt happy with the MOBO’s this year. Kelly Rowland has demanded an apology from organisers after sound problems during her performance yesterday at the award ceremony.
The singer who performed her number one single “When Love Takes Over” with David Guetta looked puzzled as the song began but continued singing.
Later on her twitter account she wrote,
“OK. So, I’m at the MoBo’s and getting ready to have a GREAT show with David and the MoBo’s F’d my sound up!!!!! P*SSED!!!!! … I wanted you guys to be the 1st to hear it from me! rehearsals. were fine. soundcheck. was fine. performance, was a struggle at 1st … HONESTLY, that just makes me work harder! But, what I will say is the MoBo’s owe me an apology!!!! I was LIVID after the show!”
The Music Of Black Origin took place earlier this evening. One absent winner from the show was Tinchy Stryder.
The rapper who had two number one’s this year and sold over a million singles.
Tinchy even closed out the show with the Young Soul Rebels
On his twitter account, the rapper wrote,
“So I didnt win a mobo after havin da highest selling urban single of the year and sellin over 1million singles this year, cool. F the MOBOs”

Tinchy Stryder has done it again!
With his second single called “Never Leave You”, which features Sugarbabe Amelle Berrabah, the East London rapper have reached the top of the UK pop charts.
Back in April, Tinchy soared to the top of the charts with “Number One” along with N-Dubz.
The Black Eyed Peas slip to number two with Mr. Hudson and Kanye West holding third spot with “Supernova”.
