So today marks the anniversary, of the death of one of the best MC’S Hip Hop, has ever seen. Biggie Smalls aka Christopher Wallace, aka Notorious BIG…13 years goes quickly right.

So 3 years ago i did a BEST OF BIGGIE mix for my radio show on KISS100. I did the mix 100 percent live, and it came out SICK. It was recorded in 3 parts, live on air, but i recorded a version straight from the desk, with no talking, and no ads, and i pieced the 3 mixes into one file. Impossible to fit in everything, but i tried my best.

While inside sources tell us that they haven’t turned the album in yet, The Roots’ How I Got Over has a November 17th street date. They did, however, already shoot a video for the first single and title track “How I Got Over” with BBGUN. Here’s a teaser. We’ll release the full video tonight or Thursday.

The Roots are busy preparing for tonight’s VH1 Hip Hop Honors where Black Thought and a certain rapper from Detroit will open the show with a tribute to LL Cool J’s classic “Rock The Bells.” This year’s HHH celebrates Def Jam’s 25 year anniversary.
